Let’s start with the very first beginning of Noisex. When and how did you first come in contact with this sort of music during your youth? What affected you to start making this music by yourself? How were your first experiences?
My first contact with industrial/ experimental music was in 1988. It came in a regular way I guess. Meeting some people out of the scene, talking about the music they’re listening to… But for the first time, I’ve heard stuff like Esplendor Geometrico, Blackhouse, Grim, SPK, TG, La nomenklatur… I was absolutely amazed! Before this time, I was in a school learning to play piano, but after that contact… I started creating strange, noisey sounds and minimal Rhythm tracks.

I am not very well informed about all of the Noisex material, could you tell us something more about the past and present releases (available) on tapes and CD’s. A short discography?

Are all your albums different from eachother, on which levels did this developed or did you make adjustments?
I think each release includes a kind of evolution. Also, each release is selected as a kind of a compilation with various styles and sounds. For me it is boring to use the same sounds and styles all the time!

This next question I want to dedicate to the contents of your debut album "Out of Order". I selected some of the tracktitles of this album and came to the conclusion that there might be hidden a story or a particular meaning behind it. These are the titles "Reaktorkatastroph- Out of Order", "The End- Part 1", "Keep Smiling Korea", "Yellow Smoke", "Adapt Environment", "One for Noisex". Maybe I’m right or I’m wrong? Can you reveal more about this subject, what does it signifies?
Each tracktitle combines to the meaning of "Out of Order". Everything which is destroyed, defected etc. But actually, there isn’t any "real" storyboard. That’s also the meaning why I don’t have much lyrics, cause I think the titles speak for them selves.

On some of your albums you mention that samples can be taken from Noisex without paying as well as your albums are sold quite cheap. Do you do this with a certain reason, which one in particular?
O.k. I don’t make Noisex with the reason of making money! Also, if anybody want’s to sample Noisex stuff… it is my honour to find my sounds on other releases. (i heard that Covenant used a short sample from "Over and Out" for one of their intros)

Noisex is not your only creation, you also gave birth to some other projects, which ones? Can you describe the difference between all of them? (Thorax; Ultra Instinct, dkf; The Unbelievable TV Preacher; Andxesion)
T:U.T.P was my first project bevor Noisex. It was just for myself. It was much noisier, more experimental and I just released it one tape for myself and a couple of friends.
Thorax is the silent side of me. You can call it as an ambient project.
Dkf. Is my hardest side, which means "TOTAL DESTRUCTION".
Andxesion is a real Liveproject which includes various artists, Livejammi’n after a festival. Ultra Instinct was planned as a kind of technoproject, but still not finished.
At least I have V.I.P which is a project with various guests at my studio!

Back to the very first beginning now. The first two tapes you released under the name Noisex are "First mistakes" and "Save the Whales". Could you describe these titles on a more profound meaning?
First Mistakes - cause I thought it was a nice title for my first release.
Save the Whales - cause it included samples of singing (crying) whales.

Your albums are always released exactly 400 days after the previous album, what’s the reason to do this?
Ha, it was just a coincidence. Between Out of order and Over and Out we had 400 days. Even we used the same for the next release, but there’s no meaning behind it.

Concerning your life shows I personally have to say that they are much more intense and harsh than when I listen to one of your albums. What is the reason herefore you think? While you are performing on a concert, do you know how to play all your tracks exactly the same like you recorded them, are they all stored in your brain? Or is there always a part of pure improvisation in it?
Definitely. There is always a part of improvisation in it! Otherwise it wouldn’t be "live"!?!? The other thing is, you never have the same equipment on stage as in your studio which means there’s always something different.

What kind of music do you like to listen besides of your own music? Could you summarize some favourite bands?
I listen to everything, if it sounds good for me! I can’t really name any favourite bands, otherwise we need more pages in your mag.

According to the information I received from Scott (Holocaust Theory) you represent a certain function in Blindfold Recordings. Can you explain how this works or what your function actually is?
Friendship, communication, help where ever I can!

Your last DCD is entitled "Ignarrogance", what is the profound meaning of this? How do you want people to interpret it?
Once again. No meaning, really, just the title. I want people to interpret anything by themselves!

Is there a specific message included in your music? How do you want people to feel or what do you want them to understand?
IN NOISE WE TRUST AND SEX WE DO! And: feeling good while practicing!

Do you have the most success in Germany or where else? What do you think about the scene?
I like it everywhere where I feel good! No comment about any scene!!! I don’t care!

Are you maybe interested in topics related to philosophy or psychology, can you summarize a few for example?
Phylosology… what’s that?

What do you think or what is your opinion/ personal relation to/ about the following subjects: individualism, misanthropy and chaos?
Individualism - mir wurst! Misanthropy - am arsch! Chaos - mein leben!

Could you reveal something more about the future of Noisex? Will you continue all your projects? What do you think the future will bring as regards the human kind?
For Noisex, a big part of evolution! (October the 30th),
my sideprojects? Especially dkf!
Human kinds? Death!

Any last words towards the true fans and listeners?
